The East and South Des Moines Chambers of Commerce will host their first Texas No Limit Hold 'Em Poker Tournament Fundraiser on Saturday, February 25, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Copper Creek Golf Club & Event Center.

Four City Chambers are working together...
Des Moines Chambers working for the city members!
The four city of Des Moines chambers (South Des Moines, East Des Moines, West Side and Downtown)
are joining their members together for one special legislative event in 2010 and five events in 2011.

2011 Activity with all four city chambers include:
Quarterly joint lunch meetings to be held with city of Des Moines leaders and speak on topics such as state of the city, buildings/sound/street closings for events/signs/alcohol, city economic development and much more. Hear directly from the clerk’s office, the mayor and other city staff: February/May/August/November. More details to come.
*These joint lunch meetings will replace the normal chamber monthly membership lunch meeting each month.
11:30-1pm, $20 Member/$25 Non-member fee.
Joint golf outing at a city of Des Moines golf course: July 28th. More details to come.
