Four Des Moines Area Chambers Celebrate New Office Space
The four Des Moines Chambers of Commerce are celebrating their shared office space and the generosity of DRG Planning and Design with a ribbon cutting to commemorate the new space. They have invited community members to join them.

The East & South Des Moines Chambers are currently taking applications for an administrative assistant. This is a part time job, with hourly pay to assist the executive director of the chambers on a daily basis.

Four Des Moines Chambers to Share Office Space Downtown
In a move to better serve Des Moines businesses, four Des Moines Chambers of Commerce will centralize operations effective March 1, while maintaining separate boards, memberships, and executive directors.

East and South Des Moines Chambers to Host
Poker Tournament February 25
The East and South Des Moines Chambers of Commerce will host their first Texas No Limit Hold 'Em Poker Tournament Fundraiser on Saturday, February 25, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Copper Creek Golf Club & Event Center.
The public is invited to attend the event and buy-in is $30 each with proceeds benefiting the Chambers. The fun-filled day will feature raffle items from local sponsors, hourly prize drawings, food and drink specials, and networking opportunities. Winnings, based on 100 entries, will be paid out to the top eight competitors: $400 for 1st place, $325 for 2nd, $250 for 3rd, $200 for 4th, $125 for 5th, $100 for 6th, $75 for 7th, $50 for 8th.
Players may pre-register online at www.edmsdmchambers.org before February 10 or tickets can be purchased at the door. Day of event registration begins at 11 a.m. and play begins at 11:30 a.m. Players must be 21 years or older to participate. Copper Creek Golf Club & Event Center is the venue sponsor and is located at 4825 Copper Creek Dr. in Pleasant Hill.
