Get Involved

There's plenty to be said for just joining the Chamber, then sitting back and letting the information flow to you. That's a good way to keep up to date on what's happening and what the Chamber's doing for you. But the only sure way to maximize your Chamber experience - to make sure you're investment really pays off - is to get involved. Here are some opportunities for you to do just that!

Volunteer Opportunities
The Chamber needs member volunteers to serve in these capacities:

  • Committees: Put your expertise to work on the Membership, Government Relations, Communications, Economic Development and Neighborhood committees.
  • Event Planning: Help plan our annual golf outing or Celebration of Progress.
  • Ambassadors: Welcome new members to Chamber events, serve as a mentor to teach others how to get more from their membership!
  • Board Leadership: Serve on the Board of Directors to guide the Chamber's work and to gain access to regional business leadership in Greater Des Moines.
